Six days 'til the ride, goodness sakes alive!

Funeral, class and board today, then there'll be five.

Well, it's raining here today and the weather throughout the week looks unsettled.  The good news is that by Sunday it shows prospects of clearing up and warming up.  The bad news is that looking at weather reports in Nevada for Monday I see 30% chance of thunderstorms.  The good news is that on Tuesday for Salt Lake City it shows pretty clear weather.  The bad news is that for southern Utah for that afternoon it shows 30% chance of thunderstorms.  The good news is that for Wednesday and Thursday in southern Utah and Las Vegas it shows mostly sun.  The bad news is that it also shows temps around 100.  And that's only the first few days folks!  Looks like I'm going to get initiated right out of the gate.  You may be glad you're only sharing in this journey by internet.  But think of all the fun you're gonna miss!  I have almost completely finalized my contacts and, I must say, it is looking very exciting indeed.  I truly am more excited about who I'm going to be talking to and what I'm going to learn than about the bike ride.  Well, stay with me now.  We're getting very, very close.
